Technical Designer Bespoke Joinery Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced Technical Designer / Draughtsperson to join their design team.
The role will involve taking projects from design intent through to manufacture, producing accurate manufacturing drawings, technical documentation and 3D models for bespoke joinery and furniture projects.
The Role Produce detailed manufacturing and workshop drawings using Solid Works .
Create accurate 3D models, assemblies and technical details.
Produce cutting lists, machining information and production documentation.
Interpret architectural drawings, interior design packages and client specifications.
Develop practical, buildable solutions suitable for workshop manufacture and CNC production.
Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, CNC Programmers and the workshop team.
Manage drawing amendments, revisions and technical documentation throughout projects.
Requirements Minimum 3 years experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing.
