A high-end bespoke joinery and furniture manufacturer is seeking an experienced Spray Finisher to carry out high-quality finishing on a wide range of furniture and architectural joinery projects, from small detailed items to large-scale installations.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Prepare and apply primers, stains, tints and topcoats using spray equipment.
- Achieve high-quality finishes from matt through to high-gloss, using a range of lacquers and coatings (PU, AC, polyester, pre-cat, water-based).
- Operate spray pumps, gravity guns, sanders and polishing equipment.
- Carry out cutting back, buffing and polishing for high-gloss finishes.
- Undertake hand finishing using oils, waxes and traditional polishing techniques.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality control and health & safety.
- Work in a well-organised, methodical manner with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
