I am working with a high-end bespoke furniture and joinery manufacturer seeking experienced Senior Cabinet Makers to join their growing workshop team, producing exceptional quality freestanding and fitted furniture for premium residential, heritage and commercial projects. The role will involve working across a wide range of styles, from contemporary to traditional and conservation work, delivering everything from individual statement pieces to large-scale architectural installations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
- High-level cabinet making and fine joinery skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using a wide range of woodworking machinery (with relevant tickets).
- Experience working with solid timber, veneers and sheet materials.
- Knowledge of cabinet jointing, assembly and modern fixings.
- Experience fitting hinges, drawer systems and architectural ironmongery.
- Veneering skills including selection, jointing and pressing.
- Ability to work with secondary materials such as metal trims, glass and leather.
- Well organised with good communication and teamwork skills.
