Joinery Prepper / Finisher β Role: Prepping / Finishing - Joinery. Type: Permanent, Full-Time. Location: Workshop-based. We are recruiting a Joinery Prepper to support the lead sprayer and workshop finishing team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow a career in joinery finishing with clear opportunities to develop skills and progress within the workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead sprayer and finishing team in preparing joinery components for finishing (sanding, masking, cleaning surfaces etc).
- Prepare joinery items for spray coating and other surface finishes, ensuring they're ready for high quality application.
- Support quality checks prior to finishing to maintain standards expected in bespoke joinery.
- Keep the finishing area clean and organised.
Experience & Skills
- No formal finishing experience required; hands-on attitude and willingness to learn essential.
- Experience in woodworking, joinery or workshop environments is beneficial but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high quality results.
