Salary:£14.00 - £16.00 per hour (DOE) We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established bespoke furniture manufacturer for a Workshop Labourer / Forklift Driver / Van Driver to support the day-to-day running of their busy workshop.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving material handling, deliveries, workshop support and assisting the production team to ensure projects move through the workshop efficiently.
The Role
- Load and unload deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
- Deliver and collect materials and finished furniture using the company van.
- Move materials and completed products safely around the workshop.
- Assist Cabinet Makers and Bench Joiners with general workshop duties.
- Prepare materials for production and keep work areas clean and organised.
- Pack and protect finished furniture ready for delivery and installation.
- Carry out general labouring duties as required to support production.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a workshop, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable lifting and moving materials safely.
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to support all areas of the workshop. What's on Offer
