The Role
They are looking for an Estimator to join the team, taking responsibility for pricing and tendering a range of joinery shopfitting & interior fit out projects from enquiry through to submission.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Producing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Preparing take-offs and bills of quantities.
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Pricing bespoke joinery, manufacturing and fit-out packages.
- Identifying value engineering opportunities where appropriate.
- Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the tender process.
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within joinery, shopfitting or interior fit-out.
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.
