We're looking for a Joinery CAD Technician / Joinery Draughtsperson, someone with a solid background in joinery design—someone who can take a project from concept through to manufacture. You’ll be responsible for producing clear and accurate client approval drawings, along with detailed 2D/3D manufacturing packs that include component breakdowns and cutting lists.
The CAD Technician:
- Experience in joinery design, from concept to manufacturing drawings
- Ability to produce accurate client approval drawings and detailed manufacturing packs, including cutting lists and component breakdowns
- Proficiency in design software—experience with Autodesk Inventor is ideal, but candidates confident in similar platforms like Solidworks are welcomed.
- Strong knowledge of materials, fittings, and appliances commonly used in commercial joinery and interior fit-out
- Confident communicator—comfortable liaising with clients, architects, interior designers, and suppliers
