An established bespoke joinery and interiors manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced CAD Designer to join their growing technical design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SolidWorks experience and a background within bespoke joinery, furniture, cabinetry or interior fit-out projects. Experience with SWOOD would be highly advantageous.

The business delivers a wide range of high-end bespoke projects including kitchens, wardrobes, media walls, panelling, specialist cabinetry and furniture, and luxury residential interiors. You will work closely with project managers, workshop teams and production staff to develop accurate, production-ready drawings from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed technical and manufacturing drawings
  • Create accurate 3D models and production packs using SolidWorks
  • Develop joinery solutions from architectural and client drawings
  • Liaise with workshop and CNC teams to ensure drawings are production-ready
  • Assist with material specifications, cutting lists and construction details
  • Ensure drawings are accurate, practical and commercially viable
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within bespoke joinery, cabinetry or furniture design
  • Strong SolidWorks experience is essential
  • SWOOD experience would be a major advantage
  • Good understanding of joinery construction methods and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to produce detailed production drawings for manufacture
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Confident working with both office and workshop teams
