Bench Joiner

Currently looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a leading joinery and interiors contractor based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to work on high‑end joinery, bespoke furniture, cabinetry, shopfitting, and interior fit‑out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery items to technical drawings and specifications
• Work with a variety of materials including hardwoods, softwoods, laminates, and sheet materials
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure high standards of finish on all products, suitable for commercial and residential projects
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of £18 – £24 per hour PAYE, depending on experience
