Job Description Workshop Manager Bespoke Joinery
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 Do EAn established bespoke joinery manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing facility.
The business delivers high-quality joinery, cabinetry and interior packages for high-end residential and commercial projects.
The Role Manage the daily running of the joinery workshop, ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.
Lead, mentor and organise a team of bench joiners, machinists and workshop operatives.
Plan production schedules and allocate labour effectively across multiple live projects.
Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Liaise with the design, contracts and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Coordinate material requirements with purchasing to minimise production delays.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and manufacturing processes.
Promote and enforce Health & Safety procedures across the workshop.
About You Previous experience managing a joinery or woodworking manufacturing workshop.
Strong background in bespoke joinery, architectural joinery or furniture manufacturing Able to read and interpret manufacturing and technical drawings.
Experience managing production programmes and workshop teams.
Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
Good understanding of workshop machinery, manufacturing processes and quality control.
Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.
Package£40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
