Wood Machinist High-end Joinery Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established high-end bespoke joinery manufacturer looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to join their workshop team based in Evesham. The role will involve machining timber and sheet materials to a high standard for bespoke joinery, cabinetry and furniture projects. The Role Operate a range of traditional woodworking machinery. Machine hardwoods, softwoods and sheet materials accurately to specification. Work from technical drawings, cutting lists and production information. Prepare components for Bench Joiners and the wider workshop team. Carry out accurate measuring, cutting, planing, moulding and profiling. Set and adjust machinery to suit different jobs and materials. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout production. Work closely with Bench Joiners and production staff to ensure projects are completed on schedule. Requirements Previous experience as a Wood Machinist within a joinery, cabinetry or furniture manufacturing environment. Confident operating woodworking machinery such as spindle moulders, planers, thicknessers, panel saws and cross-cut saws. Able to read and work from technical drawings and cutting lists. Good knowledge of timber, sheet materials and machining processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately. Good understanding of workshop Health & Safety. Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. CNC experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
