Im working with a specialist contractor delivering high-end bespoke joinery packages across prime residential and commercial environments. Theyre looking to appoint a Commercial Manager or experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial function across multiple joinery projects.
The Role
Youll take full commercial responsibility across bespoke joinery packages, from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial delivery of bespoke joinery projects from tender through to completion
- Oversee budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting across multiple live projects
- Lead valuations, variations, and final accounts specific to joinery packages
- Procure and manage subcontractors and specialist suppliers (materials, finishes, hardware)
- Work closely with design and production teams to align cost with technical delivery
- Identify and manage commercial risks across manufacturing and installation phases
- Support pricing, tender reviews, and cost planning for new joinery work
- Maintain strong client relationships and handle all commercial negotiations
