Im currently working with a well-established interior fit-out and specialist joinery contractor who is looking to bring in an experienced Estimator to support their growing pipeline of projects across commercial, retail, education and leisure sectors. This is a great opportunity to join a business that delivers full turnkey fit-out solutions, with in-house capabilities including bespoke joinery, ceilings, flooring and partitioning.

The Role

Youll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of fit-out and joinery projects, working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders and pricing submissions
  • Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
  • Take-offs and measurement of materials, labour and subcontract packages
  • Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate project handover
  • Attend client meetings where required to support tender submissions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within Joinery interior fit-out or construction
  • Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing and installation processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Package
