Information Security Lead Auditor

Overview

Information Security Lead Auditor at Alcumus (ISOQAR). This field-based role is based in Kent in the Audit department. A full driving licence is required. Alcumus is a global leader in risk management and resilience; ISOQAR is part of the Alcumus Group. This role supports a breadth of clients across the UK with information security audits. Following your Global and Divisional inductions, you will embark on a 12-week training programme, including classroom and onsite learning with a Senior Lead Auditor to achieve your Lead Auditor qualifications within Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001).

Location: Kent • Department: Audit • Travel: regional and national, overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Getting to know our clients and their products
• Hosting opening meetings – help clients understand their audit process
• Leading on the audit – apply your subject matter expertise
• Report writing – finalize the audit and deliver the report to the client
• Ongoing learning and development – we will train you to audit against other standards if you join with knowledge of one

What you’ll need to be successful

• Practical workplace experience in information technology and information security.
• Ideal candidates may have worked in roles such as IT Systems Architect, Cloud Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Cyber Intelligence Specialist, Digital Forensics Analyst or similar; however, we consider relevant experience beyond these specific roles.
• Comfort with regional and national travel; ability to stay away overnight; full driving licence.
• Confident verbal and written communicator with positive influencing skills.
• Thorough and concise report-writing experience.
