As the Surgical Sales Associate (Vision Suite Manager), your role encompasses promoting and selling Alcon’s visualization and diagnostic portfolio. Through consistent engagement and relationship building with customers, you’ll drive sales to meet targets. Additionally, you'll showcase expertise in demonstrating advanced surgical equipment, adeptly troubleshoot issues, and actively pursue opportunities within the Ophthalmology market.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Gaining sales and market share across Alcon’s digital visualization, microscopy and diagnostic portfolio across your assigned territory.
- Proactive collaboration with AMs, SEMs and other sales specialist roles: identifying potential targets and new customers.
- Being the key end-to-end specialist contact for visualization and diagnostic systems.
- Surgical visualization and diagnostic equipment promotion, demoing and training to HCPs in the OR (Operating Room) and Clinic.
- Driving equipment penetration and upgrades according to the account plan in Sales Force.
- Ensuring high pull-through of IOLs & consumables.
- Identifying visualization and diagnostic opportunities and creating leads for Cataract and Vit Equipment.
What you’ll bring to Alcon:
- We are looking for a newly qualified optometrist or BSc Graduate who would like exposure in a sales role.
- Cross-functional and matrix style working, ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to achieve individual and team targets through lead generation and sharing best practice.
- We require individuals with a proactive hunter mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to take ownership of their territory as if it were their own business.
- Excellent communication skills, both technically and interpersonally.
