As a Product Manager, Surgical supporting the UK & Ireland Surgical Marketing Team, you will be trusted to lead portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and market preparation for next‑generation surgical technologies at UK & Ireland locations. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with cross‑functional partners (Sales, Strategic Accounts, Medical, Regulatory) to solve market, customer, and competitive challenges
  • Leading end‑to‑end portfolio and brand strategy, including insights, segmentation, targeting, funnel planning, and KPI definition
  • Managing lifecycle, pricing, and promotional planning to drive year‑on‑year growth and ensure strong ROI
  • Developing and executing 360° marketing campaigns, including messaging, creative assets, digital content, and performance marketing initiatives
  • Using data analytics, CRM insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decisions, optimise performance, and identify new opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Science, or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)

Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing and/or commercial roles, ideally within medical devices or ophthalmology

Technical Skills: End‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution, strong analytical capability (incl. Google Analytics, CRM, Salesforce dashboards), digital and performance marketing competency, experience collaborating with agencies and cross‑functional teams

Behaviours: Strong business acumen, creativity and strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing without authority, results‑driven mindset with a track record of exceeding targets, high customer presence and ability to engage Key Opinion Leaders
