Our client, a high-growth InsurTech business with a suite of next‑gen software offerings, is looking for an experienced project or programme manager to drive the delivery of their solutions into highly complex commercial insurance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be fully accountable for the delivery of software implementations, ensuring commercial, timeline and delivery metrics are not just met, but exceeded.
- You will oversee the deliverables to agreed timescales and budgets, ensuring the clients’ high standards are met throughout each project.
- You will inspire clients, engage with various stakeholders and instil confidence in the clients’ customer base.
- You will develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally and become a subject matter expert for the clients’ offerings.
- Your strong commercial acumen will enable you to spot opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs through the lifecycle of product implementation, liaising with senior management and sales teams within the business.
- You will report on all activity in a timely and efficient manner, holding weekly stakeholder communication meetings and regularly updating the senior management team on progress.
- You will monitor cost and resource utilisation and make recommendations to improve delivery efficiency.
- You will actively monitor agreed SLAs and report accordingly.
- You will work closely with the sales team and relationship managers to provide detailed pricing information and plans to assist with winning new business.
- You will share knowledge with the wider business to educate colleagues on market and customer trends.
- You will provide leadership, direction and motivation to the project teams to drive improved performance and effective resource management.
At least 5 years experience working across commercial lines of business with a good understanding of London/Lloyd’s. Proven Project or Programme Management experience for either a software vendor or insurance business. Ability to lead and inspire a project team and customer stakeholders. Comfortable dealing at Board level and presenting in front of large groups of senior stakeholders. Experience of dealing with offshore resources advantageous. Contribute to internal meetings, updating the business on market trends and analysis.
