Our client, a high-growth InsurTech business with a suite of next‑gen software offerings, is looking for an ambitious Business Analyst to work across 4 different product offerings. The role is customer facing and requires the full range of functional and business analysis skills.

You will be a first‑class communicator with a good understanding of the P&C (re)insurance market and possess the ability to analyse, interpret, understand and design a functional solution, to help address the challenges of the clients' customers. You will be an evangelist and an educator, sharing customer experiences with the rest of the business and helping colleagues better understand the market landscape.

  • At least 3 years experience working across commercial lines of business with a good understanding of London/ Lloyd’s.
  • Proven Business Analyst Experience for either a software vendor or insurance business.
  • Ability to confidently articulate complex and detailed functional content to stakeholders.
  • Experience running functional workshops, gathering requirements, reviewing and writing functional documentation.
  • Comfortable dealing at Board level and presenting in front of large groups of senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of dealing with offshore resources advantageous.
  • Contribute to internal meetings, updating the business on market trends and analysis.
  • Assist with new bids to help secure new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the customers' operating model and develop process flows and functional specs to meet their requirements.
  • Design and run functional workshops, capturing and writing up the outcomes.
  • Challenge the status quo and inspire clients to think differently about their technology.
  • Provide analysis including business requirement specs, functional specs, architecture proposals and UAT plans.
  • Configure software to meet the clients' requirements.
  • Liaise with onshore and offshore cross‑functional teams to drive positive business outcomes.
