Join our team as an Associate Virtual Assistant. This associate role is being recruited and managed by Lynsey Pirie, Alchemy VA Franchise Partner, Edinburgh.
Our small but mighty Virtual Assistant family is growing—and we need a superstar to support operations, keep projects running smoothly, and be a trusted extension of our team. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
We are looking for an experienced VA who can proactively manage day-to-day operations, oversee inbox and communications management, and provide strategic support across social media and events. This includes:
- Drafting newsletters
- Creating and scheduling LinkedIn content
- Managing all event logistics, including tech and communications for both online and occasional in-person events
Proven experience supporting senior executives, directors, or board members is essential. We are looking to build a long-term relationship with an associate who can grow with the team and become an integral part of our operations.
Would you be excited to take a seat at our table and directly contribute to the continued success of a diverse and inspiring array of remarkable clients? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging, remote and flexible environment? Do you take pride and passion in all that you do? Can you take initiative and recognise when support can be offered before the client asks?
Due to an influx of Edinburgh-based clients, living in or around the Edinburgh area would be advantageous. Most of the work is online, but there are occasional in-person meetings.
You will need to be confident using Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and LinkedIn, and have strong experience with Microsoft and G-Suite packages, alongside excellent transferable administrative skills.
We are also separately looking for a Bookkeeping VA to provide up to 4 hours per month. Applicants should have a strong working knowledge of Xero; property sector experience would be an advantage but is not essential. This could be the same person if they have the right skill set.
A few things about us:
- We value integrity, family, growth, empowerment, flexibility, adventure, and kindness
- Our standards and ambitions are high
- Trust and transparency are paramount
- We are focused on finding the right person to lean into this role, which will grow and evolve longer term, and we are open to discussing how this works in practice for you
The role:
- 10 hours per week initially
- Fully remote & flexible hours
- Availability across Monday–Friday preferred
- Self-employed, with your own laptop, ICO registration, and insurance (Professional Indemnity & Public Liability)
To apply, please send a video introduction with the subject line 'Virtual Assistant Application', including relevant experience, your associate rate, and when you are available to start.
