We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a 4 star Hotel & Spa in the North West, for a motivated and professional Sales & Events Administrator to join our team and support our Sales and Events department in delivering outstanding experiences for our guests and clients. The Role As Sales & Events Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the department, assisting with event enquiries, coordinating bookings and providing administrative support to ensure every event is delivered to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Respond to sales, conference, meeting, wedding and event enquiries promptly and professionally. Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts and function sheets. Coordinate event bookings and maintain accurate records on the hotels booking systems. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure all details are confirmed. Work closely with hotel departments, including Food & Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping and Kitchen teams, to ensure seamless event delivery. Maintain client databases, sales records and event calendars. Support the Sales & Events team with appointments, site visits and client meetings. Follow up on enquiries and assist with converting leads into confirmed bookings. Provide excellent customer service throughout the booking and planning process. Assist with reports, invoicing and general administrative duties as required. About You The ideal candidate will have: Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A genuine interest in hospitality, sales and event coordination. Previous experience in hotel administration, sales, conferences or events would be an advantage, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
