We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a Film Production company for a Movie set Catering Chef to join the current team in preparing and serving meals for cast, crew, and production staff during film, television, or commercial shoots. The role combines culinary expertise with the ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments. This role is based in the Belfast area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and craft service items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Accommodate special dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergy-sensitive, religious, and medical diets.
- Coordinate meal schedules with production managers and assistant directors.
- Set up and maintain mobile kitchens, catering trucks, or temporary food service areas.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management.
- Adapt quickly to location changes, weather conditions, and production delays.
Required Qualifications
- Professional culinary training or equivalent experience.
- Food Safety Certification (such as Level 2 or Level 3 Food Safety).
- Experience in large-scale catering, hospitality, or event catering.
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
