Overview
Our client, a global supplier of food ingredients, is looking to hire experienced Shipping & Logistics professionals to be based in Central London, near Liverpool Street.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with freight forwarders and shipping lines
- Process purchase orders using internal system
- Arrange import and export of goods
- Book deliveries to warehouses and to customers
- Negotiate best prices for shipping products worldwide
- Liaise with customers worldwide ensuring a high level of service is delivered
Key Requirements
- Experience working in Shipping, Logistics or Freight Forwarding
- Knowledge of import and export procedures in the UK and EU
- Fluent English, additional language skills welcomed
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
