Join our Global Sourcing team in Breda! Lead procurement across EMEA, drive cost savings, and enhance supplier performance. The position also involves collaboration across multiple countries and contributions to global sourcing initiatives. Some travel to China and Europe is required.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of sourcing strategies for Finished Goods in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Establish and implement global sourcing strategies for key categories to achieve cost savings and counteract raw material inflation.
- Lead global business reviews to enhance KPI performance, including cost efficiency, lead times, on-time delivery, quality, and production flexibility.
- Support the resolution of critical quality and service issues.
- Oversee cost management of sourced Finished Goods to meet company objectives.
- Negotiate and secure global contractual agreements with OEM suppliers.
- Manage RFQ processes for assigned sourcing categories.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for the supply base.
- Guide the team in developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with regional business needs.
- Supervise the Sourcing Manager based in the UK office.
- Travel to China and across Europe to oversee supplier relationships and product sourcing.
- Contribute to broader global sourcing initiatives as required.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain or sourcing within an international setting.
- Strong knowledge of the OEM landscape in low-cost regions, with the ability to assess challenges and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, including cost modeling and data-driven negotiations.
- Track record of managing supplier relationships, driving performance, and ensuring seamless integration.
- Results-driven with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong negotiation skills, including contract management and legal understanding.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate market trends and competitive insights.
- Flexible and adaptable to internal processes, change, and unexpected challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
