Job Description
At Alchemy we are working with an established design and art gallery based in London looking for a Marketing Manager with +3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across email, website, and social media.
- Maintain and update the website and digital content.
- Manage social media accounts (Instagram and others).
- Create and send newsletters using Mailchimp.
- Work with external designers, photographers, and freelancers.
- Manage marketing budgets and track spending.
- Produce printed materials like catalogues, labels, and signage.
- Write and send press releases, handle press enquiries.
- Build and maintain relationships with media and press contacts.
- Maintain press archive and ensure good media coverage.
- Write exhibition texts and manage artist biographies.
- Support content creation and image sourcing for promotional use.
- Help install exhibitions (e.g. vinyl, labels).
- Train new staff on marketing tools and systems.
- Attend studio visits and gather content.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of marketing experience in the art or design sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with Mailchimp, Adobe InDesign/Photoshop, and Artlogic.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
