Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is working with a highly reputable relocation service provider. They are seeking a Warehouse Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with a hands-on experience overseeing warehouse staff, household goods shipments, storage operations, documentation, equipment and compliance.

This is an onsite role in Uxbridge, UK.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager include

  • Plan and manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring goods-in and goods-out operations run efficiently.
  • Receive and release shipments using the appropriate paperwork and procedures.
  • Book all incoming warehouse jobs onto CORE, recording shipment volume, gross and net weights, and warehouse location.
  • Calculate the cost of overcasing work and enter the information into CORE.
  • Monitor packing material stock levels and arrange additional orders through the warehouse office.
  • Issue materials to subcontractors and provide the relevant material sheets.
  • Manage the External Temporary Storage Facility customs bond.
  • Notify the Accounts team of monthly charges for materials issued.
  • Order crates and coordinate delivery to customers' residences or the warehouse.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and assist with operational duties when required

Ideal Candidate

  • Must have must hold forklift licences for Counterbalance and Reach Fork Trucks.
  • Previous Warehouse Management experience in relocation and logistics sector experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when managing shipment records and compliance documentation.
  • Quality-focused, organised and proactive.
