The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, hospitality, and customer relationship management, with a passion for exceeding targets and enhancing guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to maximise hotel revenue. Develop and implement sales strategies to attract corporate clients, travel agencies, and group bookings. Build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. Generate and manage leads through networking, cold calls, industry events, and online research. Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Account & Relationship Management: Manage key corporate accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase hotel facilities. Negotiate and close contracts for corporate stays, events, and group bookings. Maintain an up-to-date CRM database with client interactions and sales progress.
- Revenue & Performance Management: Monitor sales performance and report on KPIs, revenue targets, and market trends. Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimise pricing and occupancy rates. Stay updated on competitor activity, industry trends, and market demands to adjust strategies accordingly.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel sales, corporate sales, or business development within the hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience in CRM systems and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce).
- Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of the local market, corporate travel, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales is a plus.
