What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and de-installing artworks for exhibitions, fairs, and private viewings
• Handling a wide range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media
• Packing and crating works securely for transport and storage
• Working closely with curators, artists, and registrars on layout and placement
• Managing condition reporting and photographic documentation
• Assembling plinths, vitrines, and exhibition hardware
• Transporting artworks safely between locations using gallery vehicles or couriers
• Supervising on-site logistics during installs and deinstalls
• Supporting warehouse operations including inventory and storage handling
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop supplies
• Assisting with artwork checks and insurance documentation
• Ensuring best practices in health and safety during all handling tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in art handling within a gallery, museum, or fine art logistics company
• Strong technical skills in art installation, packing, and transport
• Familiarity with handling contemporary and fragile artworks
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in art environments
