Join a thriving freight forwarding business in Harrow as an Import & Export Business Development Manager. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to grow sales across air, sea, and general cargo services while developing strategic partnerships in both national and international markets. This role can be performed from anywhere in the UK; however, it requires regular travel to clients for meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured plan of sales appointments with new and existing clients
- Generate and pursue new business opportunities across freight, relocation, and logistics services
- Conduct face-to-face, phone, and networking-based client engagement
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to secure new contracts
- Manage your own calendar and set sales appointments independently
- Sell import/export services, including air and sea freight
- Provide sales support during Business Development meetings
- Maintain accurate visit reports in the CRM system
