This is an exciting opportunity for someone starting their career in logistics, the day to day role to include providing assistance across all departments including road, air and sea. Responsibilities: Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed when working. Attend operations meetings on a weekly basis. Assist in arranging and setting up local work, to include invoicing and quoting. Ensure new clients have service agreements and existing clients have up to date insurance agreements. Provide administrative assistance and flexible support to all departments including air, sea and road; training will be provided. Receive training and demonstrate learnt skills. Assist collating quotes from suppliers. Inform consignors and consignees of shipping departure and arrival updates. Skills and qualifications: Problem solving abilities and a team player. Time management skills with ability to use initiative when needed. Flexible in a range of changing work environments. Willing to learn and use both new and existing technology. Relevant experience within a shipping organisation.
