We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead investigations and complex dispute-support work within the investigations consulting sector based in London. In this role you will manage high-stakes arbitration and litigation support projects, asset tracing and internal investigations for global clients.
What Youโll Be Doing:
- Manage and lead a varied range of complex projects simultaneously within the investigations team related to dispute support in the investigations and disputes sector.
- Mentor and supervise junior project team members, supporting their professional development.
- Engage with human sources to obtain information where needed and proactively expand the global source network.
- Prepare clear, client-ready reports on dispute support projects that require minimal edits or supervision.
- Proof-read and quality-control the work of peers and junior team members to ensure high standards.
- Maintain direct engagement with clients throughout the project cycle, ensuring full understanding of objectives and adapting to changes in case context.
- Oversee project budgets and supervise financial aspects of project execution, controlling costs and ensuring profitability.
- Participate in client-facing activities such as briefings and presentation of findings during the project lifecycle.
- Draft, scope and price proposals for new investigation work and actively reach out to both existing and potential clients to sell services.
- Analyse legal strategies and develop investigative plans aligned with client objectives at various dispute stages.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of international arbitration, litigation developments, and dispute support best practice.
What Weโre Looking For:
- Fluency in English to the highest standard in both spoken and written communication.
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in dispute support investigations (arbitration, asset-tracing, internal investigations).
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing human sources.
- Extensive experience understanding legal strategies and designing investigative plans to assist clients at different stages of a dispute.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to execute projects with business-minded professionalism.
- Astute writing skills, strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to translate complex commercial matters into clear reports.
- Strong professional judgement in project execution and client-management contexts.
- Self-motivated and able to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- A keen passion for disputes and interest in the latest developments in international arbitration and litigation.
Preferred: People-management experience or ambition to lead and develop teams.
Advantageous: Proficiency in additional languages.
