A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Relocation Consultant to join an industry-leading relocation management company. You'll be responsible for managing international relocation services for corporate assignees and their families, serving as the main point of contact throughout their relocation. Hybrid working (in office and remote) is available.
Core duties of the Relocation Consultant include:
- Overseeing and managing the international relocation process from start to finish
- Delivering pre-move assignment briefings with the relocating employee
- Coordinating third-party supplier services for moves and repatriations
- Ensuring the assignee understands the terms within the client policy
- Acting as the direct point of contact for client HR contacts and assignees throughout each stage of the move
- Managing assignee case files and recording data as required
- Producing cost projections and calculating assignment compensation
- Handling payments related to the assignment including payroll instructions, expenses, and invoices
- Initiating authorizations for requested exceptions
Experience and skills required:
- Previous experience working for a relocation company as a Relocation or Global Mobility Consultant
- Good knowledge of the international relocation process
- Understanding of international compensation, social security, and tax issues is preferable but not essential
- GMS qualification would be preferable but is not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to negotiate and resolve problems
- Fluent in English is essential, any other additional languages are a plus
- Excellent client and customer service skills
- Bachelor's degree is desirable but is not essential
