Our client is a global advisory firm specialising in risk management. Their intelligence services empower clients to make well-informed decisions regarding transactions, partnerships, market entry, and complex regulatory and political landscapes. Our client delivers investigative and dispute advisory support to uncover fraud, strengthen legal strategies, and trace assets—alongside expert cyber guidance to counter today's evolving threat landscape.
Due to expansion, they are seeking a manager to join their Asia team in London. The successful candidate will manage strategic intelligence and complex due diligence projects, predominantly in the APAC region. They are looking for resourceful and self-motivated candidates with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
Role responsibilities:- Management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across APAC. Particular areas of focus include Greater China, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
- Public domain research and conduct of human source enquiries to support strategic intelligence projects.
- Drafting client ready reports as well as supporting visuals.
- Briefing of clients and other external and internal stakeholders on existing project work.
- Briefing of clients on specific countries or sectors of specialisation in APAC.
- Development of human source network for the APAC team.
- Drafting client ready project proposals and assist with wider business development activities.
- Expertise in at least one APAC country (Southeast Asia and South Asia countries are an advantage) paired with understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors across the region.
- Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills for report drafting and client briefings; Proficiency in an Asian language (such as Indonesian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean) would be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant industry such as business intelligence, consulting, academia, or law.
- Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other relevant sources of information in the public domain.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time, and meet client deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for delivering client briefings and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders.
