What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and de-installing artworks for exhibitions, fairs, and private viewings
- Handling a wide range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media
- Packing and crating works securely for transport and storage
- Working closely with curators, artists, and registrars on layout and placement
- Managing condition reporting and photographic documentation
- Assembling plinths, vitrines, and exhibition hardware
- Transporting artworks safely between locations using gallery vehicles or couriers
- Supervising on-site logistics during installs and deinstalls
- Supporting warehouse operations including inventory and storage handling
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and workshop supplies
- Assisting with artwork checks and insurance documentation
- Ensuring best practices in health and safety during all handling tasks
