Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a London-based Associate Director for a top intelligence and advisory firm. Managing strategic intelligence and enhanced due diligence initiatives throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region will be the main responsibility of this role. This position provides a stimulating chance to lead projects on your own and support the ongoing success of the company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee MENA-wide strategic intelligence and enhanced due diligence initiatives, with an emphasis on the Gulf, Iran, Egypt, and North Africa.
- Inform clients and stakeholders about the status of the project, important discoveries, and insights unique to the region.
- Support intelligence projects by conducting human source enquiries and public domain research.
- Create project proposals for clients and assist the company's internal business development initiatives.
- Create reports and graphics that are client-ready and clearly and professionally convey findings and insights.
- Develop and maintain a human resource network essential to intelligence operations in the MENA region.
- As needed, give briefings on particular MENA nations or industries.
Qualifications and Capabilities
- A minimum of three years of experience working in the business intelligence sector.
- Strong knowledge of at least one MENA nation (knowledge of Gulf or North African nations is advantageous) and an awareness of the legal and business risks that investors in the area face.
- Good understanding of political and regulatory trends in MENA region.
- Strong commercial writing ability.
- Fluency in English and ideally Arabic; additional skills in French or Farsi are highly beneficial.
- Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and speaking, for client briefings and report writing.
- Proficiency in performing intricate investigations utilising appropriate databases and additional publicly available resources.
- The capacity to oversee several projects at once, fulfil client deadlines, and produce excellent work under duress.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for working with internal and external stakeholders and providing clients with effective briefings.
