We’re working with a removals company looking to recruit a Removals Operations Manager for its operation in Northwest London.

This is a hands-on position within the moving and removals sector, combining day-to-day operational management with practical involvement in removals, warehouse work and driving when required, a perfect role for a forward thinker looking to modernise and optimise the company's processes to reach their KPIs.

The role will also include some Saturday shifts.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

  • Managing daily removals operations and allocating work to crews and drivers.
  • Planning removals schedules, vehicle requirements and staffing for upcoming jobs.
  • Working alongside crews and getting involved with removals and warehouse duties when required.
  • Coordinating crews throughout the day and dealing with operational changes as they arise.
  • Driving 3.5 tonne removal vans when needed.
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift as part of warehouse and removals operations.
  • Making sure vehicles, equipment and operational paperwork are ready for scheduled removals.
  • Maintaining high customer service standards throughout the entire moving process.

  • A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved with removals and warehouse work.
  • Good knowledge of day-to-day removals operations, including crew and vehicle scheduling.
