An established company is seeking a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis for approx 30-35 hours per week (Mon-Fri).

This role is based onsite in Basildon, Essex.

The role supports the smooth running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
  • Pick, pack, and label orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Prepare goods for courier collection and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain stock records and assist with regular stock checks.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Report any issues such as damaged or missing items promptly.
  • Support courier and customer queries in a professional manner.

Key Experience & Skills

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Able to follow written instructions and work independently.
  • Basic IT and data entry skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 23kg.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures (domestic or international) beneficial.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
