The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mixologist/Bartender to join our team at Alchemy Bar & Lounge. As a Bartender with Alchemy, your role is to create memorable experiences through exceptional service and mixology skills. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to showcase your creativity, grow, and make an impact. Your main responsibilities are crafting our signature cocktails, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and providing excellent service to our customers. Other duties include preparing the bar for service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the bar area is in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create our signature and classic cocktails with precision and efficiency
- Maintain knowledge of our extensive drink menu, including seasonal specialties
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
- Maintain bar cleanliness and stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Stay updated on mixology trends and techniques
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a bar environment
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails
- Passion for mixology and attention to detail
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Creative flair and willingness to experiment with new recipes
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, some holidays, and special events
