Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Clear tables and reset for the next guest
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Experience:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes
- Strong upselling skills to increase sales and enhance the guest experience
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
