Alchem Partners are excited to be once again engaged as the search partner to a leading EPC business within the chemical space. They are a specialist business supplying turnkey process plants to improve raw material efficiency in the Aluminium Industry on a global level. Due to growth and some very exciting new projects, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Chesterfield.
You will support the delivery of full-scale projects and plant builds on behalf of numerous clients globally, you will be instrumental in the full lifecycle of these projects and be experienced in the following:
- Degree qualified Chemical Engineer.
- Significant experience in a process/projects engineering role within either a similar EPC industry or a chemical/process manufacturing business.
- Experience of applying mass & energy balances in industry or in process design roles.
- Proficient in pressure drop calculations and selecting pumps or fans.
- Performing sizing calculations and/or operational experience of Heat Transfer equipment.
- Mapping a process and constructing process flow diagrams.
- Experience attending Hazard Studies including HazOp’s and has used a Management of Change system to document process engineering modifications.
- A true problem solver who knows how to do or knows where to find information when necessary.
- Previous experience of solid-liquid separation technology (Advantageous).
- Previous plant commissioning experience (Advantageous).
- Any supervisory or leadership experience would also be advantageous.
- Valid Driving Licence & Passport.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global business, be involved in full scale projects and be part of a high performing team. This role is based on site in Chesterfield with a working from home option 1 or 2 days a week. In return our client is offering a salary of £65,000 - £75,000pa, plus bonus and benefits. There will be occasional domestic and international travel dependent on project requirements.
