Alchem Partners are currently representing a family owned, chemical manufacturing business based in the Northwest. With over 100 years in industry, they are a respected and recognised business with a solution driven and customer centric approach. Due to growth within the function we are recruiting for a HR Administrator to join the team, this role will suit an ambitious individual who has some HR Administrative/Administrative experience who already has or is working towards their CIPD Level 3. This is an excellent chance to be exposed to the wider HR function in a generalist/administrative capacity with a clear growth path and CIPD 5/7 support in the future. This role will also be suitable for anyone who is keen in and/or has a passion for learning and development as the role will grow in the future to encompass this line of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with all ER cases, employee queries, recruitment documentation, onboarding and training documentation.
  • Support the HR Manager and Key Stakeholders in employee related matters.
  • Update and utilise HR software.
  • Build and nurture strong working relationships across all internal functions.
  • Ensuring a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Other administrative tasks as and when required.
  • Have a positive outlook and drive for further development, growth and learning.

The Successful Candidate will have;

  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards.
  • Experience ideally within a HR function and/or administrative experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Good software skills including HR platforms, Microsoft packages, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a MUST, as is strong time management and organisational skills.

In return our client are offering, a working week of 36.25 hours a week over Monday – Thursday with flexible start and finish times. C£30,000pa, plus benefits, progression path and funded support to gain CIPD Level 5/7.
