Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a continuous improvement operation/culture that meets the needs of the customer while supporting growth, improving efficiency, and minimising risk to the business. To ensure value for money is achieved in all operational expenditure while overseeing and maintaining all health & safety legal requirements.
- Stock/Inventory Control:
- Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and Warehouse Assets and for service providers to be cost-effective (Saws, Racking, Forklifts etc.).
- Responsible for the efficiency of production and the quality of the goods produced.
- Ensure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures including Tacos and Drivers Hours.
- Operations Managers are responsible for the compliance of the operator’s license and driver training.
- Operations Managers are responsible for the upkeep of procedures and ongoing training related to Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Responsible for all training and development of the warehouse team.
The business needs a person who will identify and deliver change in order to produce enhanced business results.
