The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to join our client\’s team. In this role, you will be working creatively and flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary wrap-around team.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for developing and undertaking functional behavioural assessments and complex Positive Behaviour Support plans and implementing effective behaviour and quality of life support for individuals with behaviours that challenge.
- You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for those who you support.
- Your expertise in behaviour analysis will be pivotal in guiding clients towards achieving their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioural needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and modify interventions as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders about behaviour analysis principles.
What You Need For This Role
- Must hold a current Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing behaviour intervention plans.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to data collection and analysis.
- A compassionate approach with a strong commitment to improving client outcomes.
