Join Alcedo Care in the Kendal/Carnforth area and surrounding regions as a Complex Care Assistant. You will support service users in maintaining independence, dignity and quality of life by providing compassionate, personâcentred care and companionship. Your role includes supporting clients both within their homes and accessing community services.
Base Pay Range
- Pay: ÂŁ17 per hour Monday to Friday; ÂŁ18 per hour Saturday to Sunday.
A driving licence is required to support clients in accessing the community.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Complex Care Assistant role involves delivering highâquality, personâcentred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders and advanced care needs. You will receive comprehensive training and competency signâoff from our inâhouse team of Registered Nurses. Clinical tasks include manual cough assist, digital stimulation for bowel management, postural and spinal support, PEG care, tracheostomy care, continence, medication, mobility, meal preparation and household tasks. You will promote independence and bring joy to those you support.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months handsâon care experience in a UK care setting
- Aged 18 or over
- Subject to Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
- Driving licence (required)
