The Role
We are recruiting dedicated carers to provide permanent complex care support for an individual living with Friedreich Ataxia.
The client has:
- Limited speech and requires patient, clear communication
- Full assistance with mobility, being both wheelchair and bed bound
- A ceiling track hoist in place for safe transfers
- A strong wish to continue attending the gym and local activities with support
Shifts Available
- Daytime Care (Driver required):
- 12pm – 6pm, Monday to Friday
- Must be 21+ with a full UK driving licence to drive the mobility vehicle
- Waking Nights:
- 9pm – 8am
- Monday, Saturday, and every other Friday

Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Must be caring, reliable, and comfortable supporting someone with limited mobility and speech
- Enhanced DBS check & satisfactory references
- For driver role: must be 21+ with a full UK licence (insurance requirement)
- Previous experience in complex care preferred, but full training provided
