Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Care Assistant in St Asaph and surrounding areas. Excellent rates of pay £14.75 - £15.25 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a rolled up pay rate of £16.53 to £17.09). Expected average hours are 20 to 40 hours plus per week. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs. You will be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and our training team, enabling you to excel in your role. From specialist care such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support to assisting with medication, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks, you will develop skills that truly make a difference. Complex care is about empowering independence and creating moments of joy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs (e.g., spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, neurological disorders, mental health).
- Assist with specialist tasks such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support as required.
- Support with medication administration, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Work with support from our in-house Registered Nurses and training team, ensuring competency is signed off.
Qualifications
- At least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or familial support.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be medically fit to drive.
- Be willing to undertake appropriate checks in line with company policy.
Pay, Benefits & Hours
- Pay rate for complex care support: £14.75 - £15.25 per hour, plus Pension and Holiday Pay (rolled up pay rate £16.53 to £17.09).
- Alternative domiciliary rate for other hours: £14. - £14.50 plus Pension and Holiday Pay (rolled up £15.69 to £16.25).
- Opportunities for long or short shifts, including 12-hour day or night shifts.
