We are looking for compassionate people to join our Care Worker team in Bury and surrounding areas to help provide care, including personal care, and assist people in their own homes and out in the community.
As a Support Worker with Alcedo Care, you will be working out in the community assisting adults and children with activities such as taking them out in the community, assisting with medication, and personal care. This is a fantastic role where you can feel the rewards of making a difference!

We are currently on the lookout for compassionate people to join our team of Children’s Support Workers in the Bury and surrounding areas to help provide care, including personal care, and assist young people in their own homes and out in the community over evenings and weekends.
As a Support Worker with Alcedo Care, you will be working out in the community assisting children and young adults with exciting activities such as taking them swimming, to soft play centres, or even just a stroll through the local park in and around the Bury area. This is a fantastic and fun role where you can get out and about and turn work into play!
This role may be perfect for you if you have previous experience as a Learning Disability Support Worker or a Youth Worker with some experience of learning disabilities. Experience as an SEN Classroom Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant would also be valuable, or you may have personal experience looking after a family member.
As well as experience in a similar role, you will need:
- A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- You must be 18 years of age to apply for this role
- You must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare background or working with children with additional needs.
- A good command of spoken and written English
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
