HOME CARE WORKER
Location: Chester and surrounding areas within a 15 mile radius, including Blacon, Upton, Saltney, Frodsham and Ellesmere Port.
Shift Patterns: 7am β 3pm | 3pm β 11pm | 7am β 11pm (Including Alternate Weekends)
Application eligibility: Applications for this role are open to candidates who meet the criteria of being female and a driver. Due to the specific needs of the clients we support, this role is subject to a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Salary and benefits: Excellent rates of pay Β£14.00 β Β£15.75 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of Β£16.16 β Β£18.18)
Driving and transport: Driving requirement β This role requires the post holder to hold a full UK driving licence, be medically fit to drive, and be willing to undertake appropriate checks in line with company policy.
The role and responsibilities: The successful applicant will be required to support female clients, including providing transport and working in situations involving privacy, dignity and safeguarding considerations. For this reason, we are only able to consider female applicants for this position. This requirement relates solely to the nature of the role and the needs of the individuals supported. All other aspects of recruitment will be assessed fairly and on merit.
What you will do
- Support people of all ages with personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)
- Medication and meal preparation
- Household tasks and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and providing companionship
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Willing to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
