Make a Real Difference as a Home Care Worker with Alcedo Care in Ormskirk, working in the areas of Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Burscough, Mawdsley and Aughton.
Excellent rates of pay from Β£13.00 to Β£14.50 PLUS pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a rolled up pay rate of Β£15.01 to Β£16.80 per hour).

The Role
As a Home Care Worker, you\βll support people of all ages with:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, continence support)
- Medication and meal preparation
- Household tasks and daily routines
- Encouraging independence and providing companionship
With 6 months experience we also offer opportunities to work in:
- Complex Care β supporting individuals with conditions such as spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and respiratory needs. Training includes tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, postural support, and more.
- Children\βs Support β providing personal care, emotional support, and daily assistance for children and young people with complex needs.
- Mental Health Support β offering practical and emotional support to help individuals manage routines, reduce isolation, and build confidence.
No prior experience? That\βs okay. Our Induction Training will give you the skills and confidence you need.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Willing to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends
- Enhanced DBS check, cost covered by Alcedo Care, and satisfactory references required
- For Complex Care, Children\βs or Mental Health duties we require at least 6 months\β hands-on UK care experience.
