As a people person, you will enjoy meeting and supporting a diverse range of people of all ages. To work with us as a Complex Care Assistant, you'll need to have at least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support to help ensure you're confident and ready to support our clients with more advanced needs.
The Complex Care Assistant role at Alcedo Care involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders. You'll be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and our training team, giving you the confidence to excel in your role.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs in their own homes.
- Provide specialist care including PEG, suction and tracheostomy support as required.
- Assist with medication administration, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Collaborate with the in-house Registered Nurses and training team for ongoing guidance and competency sign-off.
Qualifications
- At least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support.
- Confident in supporting individuals with complex health needs.
- Passion for making a positive difference and ability to work across diverse client needs.
