Join Alcedo Care Leeds as a Care Assistant working within the areas of Leeds, Wakefield and Castleford. Excellent rates of pay £14.00 -£14.50 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £16.16- £16.74). We are offering a free DBS check! Immediate interviews available. Expected average hours - 20 to 40 hours plus per week. Shifts are flexible where possible with opportunities for short shifts or 12-hour shifts days or nights. Overview Role: Care Assistant focused on delivering personal and practical care in clients' own homes in the Leeds, Wakefield and Castleford area.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care including continence support, washing and dressing.
- Support with medication, meal preparation and helping with household tasks.
- Promote independence and provide compassionate, person-centred care.
- Follow care plans and document observations as required.
- Engage with and support a diverse range of people of all ages.
Qualifications:
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be medically fit to drive.
- Be willing to undertake appropriate checks in line with company policy.
- Aged 18 or over due to the nature of the role.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
